Retained Search
The method used for confidential recruitment of senior level executives in corporate and division roles nationwide. In a retained search, we manage the recruitment process from developing the position specifications to negotiating employment agreements.
At the request of our clients, we will also conduct face-to-face candidate interviews. This service is standard in retained search and is available for exclusive contingency searches as well. The charge for this service is limited to pre-approved T&E expenses.
Exclusive Contingency
An exclusive contingency search is used for positions in which there is a real need for timely fulfillment, and/or for multiple positions which require thorough, ongoing professional representation in the marketplace.
Our exclusive contingency division focuses on mid to senior level positions that are both time-sensitive and difficult to locate. We take a thorough and deliberate approach to each of our searches, and we understand that our clients are not only looking for qualified candidates, but looking for them in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on not only finding the most accomplished candidates, but finding the candidates that best fit with your company's culture and long-term plans.
This is the preferred method of conducting contingency recruitment. By having a 60-day exclusive, we are able to give the search priority status and conduct it in a wholly comprehensive and timely manner. In addition, the client receives a fee reduction under this agreement. The elimination of the confusion created by the use of multiple recruiters translates into a mutual benefit for our clients and us. Freedom from the competitive rush provides the time necessary to methodically screen the entire candidate pool, objectively rank the individuals and present only the best candidates.
Contract/Temporary Staffing
For employers, temporary positions can provide project-related support, reinforcement during employee absences, and valuable resources when hiring freezes or head count restrictions exist.
Contract to Hire
L&J Associates offers a Contract-to-Hire staffing program that benefits both the employer and the candidate. Prior to making a long-term commitment to a candidate, a client can hire L&J employees on a temporary basis to ensure both a technical and general fit for the position. Once this has been established, clients can convert the L&J employee to their direct staff.
