L&J Associates, LLC is a boutique executive search firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and was founded in January 2000 by two former Fortune 500 executives, Jack Stroker and Larry Polsky, as a retained executive search firm. The firm specializes in the recruitment and placement of division and corporate level executives for a regional and national client base and has filled key positions for Fortune 1000 companies, emerging entrepreneurial businesses and non-profits.  

With the addition of Robert Jones, the firm now offers a broad range of talent solutions to meet the needs of a regional and national client base.

Jack Stroker will continue to provide retained search services, and Robert Jones will lead a highly specialized group that targets professionals in the Information Technology and Finance and Accounting fields for mid- and senior- level positions. Working with Adam Elmore, a Davidson College graduate and Duke MBA candidate, and Syd Schenk, a CPA and former audit manager and assistant corporate controller, the group has over 50 years of combined industry and recruiting expertise.
